Charge d'affaires a.i. Vladan Stevanović, on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in the Republic of Belarus, expressed his condolences on the death of the first president of the Republic of Moldova, Mircea Snegur, and signed the book of condolences that was opened at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Minsk.
As the President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu stated, President Snegur played an important role in promoting the independence, freedom and sovereignty of the Republic of Moldova.

A meeting with a Belarusian participant of the World in Serbia scholarship program |

Charge d'affaires a.i. Vladan Stevanović held a meeting with the Belarusian participant of the "World in Serbia" program for the academic year 2021/22, Ilja Tkačenko, who said that as a scholarship recipient of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, passed the Serbian language exam and all exams at the Master's studies at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, and that he's preparing his Master's Work. Tkachenko spoke very favorably about the mentioned educational program and about Serbia in general.
As part of the "World in Serbia" program for the academic year 2022/2023 is Belarusian student Andrej Krupenin, who passed the Serbian language exam A2 (99/100) and enrolled in basic studies at the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Engineering, University of Belgrade.
V. Stevanović pointed out that the mentioned program of the Government of the Republic of Serbia provides an exceptional opportunity for foreign students to acquire academic knowledge, but also to learn the Serbian language, Serbian history and culture, so it represents an exceptional opportunity to connect the two peoples. Stevanović also wished the students success and excellent results in their studies in the Republic of Serbia.
